This recipe is enough for one pumpkin pie, multiply it if you want to make a small jarful to put in other foods.
1 1/4 Tsp cinnamon,
1/4 tsp ground ginger or tsp fresh minced ginger, only use fresh if you will use it all up right away
1/8 tsp nutmeg,
1/4 tsp all spice, optional
1/8 tsp ground cloves or mace, optional
For some recipes such as pumpkin pie an unconventional pinch of cardamom works great too.
