Crispy chicken thighs

This recipe is best with chicken thighs, but I used chicken legs this time as that’s what I had in quarantine.

Simple oven baked yet juicy chicken thighs with crispy skin. Just 3 ingredients and made with super common pantry ingredients! A dinner iwth only 5 minutes of prep work!

I am sharing my mama’s original recipe which is so easy, yet so delicious so everyone asks about it!


Skin-on, bone-in, chicken thighs

Bread crumbs (regular or gluten free bread crumbs such as brown rice crumbs. if sold out in quarantine easily make bread crumbs from dry bread in a food processor)

your favourite chicken seasoning or all purpose seasoning or italian seasoning, we use Vegeta, a European store seasoning that adds to every dish and soup, sprinkle generous amount



Preheat the oven to 350.

Mix together the crumbs and sesoning. Cover the chicken skin with bread crumbs. place on a broiler pan with a grid or a small aluminum roasting rack over a pan for roasting chicken. Bake until the breaded skin is golden brown and crispy and the chicken is cooked through, about 40 minutes or so.

Serve with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies or this creamy cucumber salad.
